UNESWA is committed to building key partnerships with other universities, governments, industry, businesses, commodity organisations and communities and to negotiate models for local, national, and international research cooperation that enables these partnerships to address pressing challenges to society. UNESWA believes in a reciprocal relationship between the university and partners outside of the university being central to developing relevance and excellence in research. Partner organisations and industry can collaborate with UNESWA on research innovations, hire undergraduate/postgraduate students and alumni for internships/co-op assignments/full-time employment, and access the university’s expertise and specialized equipment via services agreements. In some cases, UNESWA can facilitate in-kind support or view opportunities for matching funds.
